Album Review: Loose Talk by Bryan Ferry & Amelia Barratt

An intriguing piece of work that has a strange allure, asking more questions than it answers Bryan Ferry will be 80 later this year, but like many established artists he continues to seek new ways of making music. His latest move has brought him into collaboration with Glasgow-based writer, painter and performance artist Amelia Barratt, whom he met at a gallery opening. Their meeting of minds has its roots in musical fragments, for Barratt's verse is paired with music from demos recorded by Ferry across the years, going back as far as the 1970s heyday of Roxy Music.
